But here's where it gets exciting: they're offering two unique, fully remote leadership positions that allow you to contribute to this mission from anywhere in the world. And this is the part most people miss: these roles aren't just about managing operations; they're about shaping a global organization's culture, systems, and impact on disability rights and inclusion.
ADD International: Empowering Inclusion Globally
ADD International is a renowned global organization dedicated to breaking down barriers and empowering individuals with disabilities, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Through advocacy, capacity building, and innovative development programs, they strive to create a world where everyone can fully participate in society, access education, build sustainable livelihoods, and engage with their communities.
Two Critical Leadership Roles: Shaping the Future of Inclusion
To further their mission, ADD International seeks passionate and experienced professionals for two pivotal roles:
1. Director of Resources, Systems, and Culture:
This senior leadership position is the architect of ADD International's operational backbone. Imagine being responsible for ensuring the organization's systems – from finance and HR to IT and organizational development – seamlessly support its ambitious goals. But it's more than just efficiency; it's about fostering a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. Think strategic leadership, resource optimization, and championing a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Visionary: Lead the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and systems that drive organizational success, ensuring resources are aligned with ADD International's mission to maximize impact.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting with transparency and accountability, while leading resource mobilization efforts and ensuring donor compliance.
- Building Robust Systems: Develop and maintain efficient HR, IT, and operational systems, prioritizing compliance, data-driven decision-making, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Cultivating a Thriving Culture: Champion initiatives that promote inclusivity, staff well-being, diversity, and a culture of continuous learning. Mentor and develop leaders, provide training, and implement performance management frameworks.
- Collaborative Leader: Work closely with senior leadership, program teams, and external stakeholders to ensure resources and systems align with strategic goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration and impact measurement.
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a seasoned leader with extensive experience in senior management, operational leadership, and organizational development. Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills are essential. A deep commitment to disability inclusion and social justice is at the heart of this role.
2. Safeguarding and Security Manager:
This role is the guardian of safety and well-being within ADD International. It's about ensuring the protection of staff, partners, and beneficiaries across all global programs, especially in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguarding Champion: Develop, implement, and monitor robust safeguarding policies and procedures to protect children, adults at risk, staff, and program participants, ensuring compliance with international standards and legal requirements.
- Risk Management Expert: Conduct thorough risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and provide expert advice on security protocols across diverse operational contexts.
- Empowering Through Training: Deliver comprehensive safeguarding and security training to staff, partners, and volunteers, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities and can respond effectively to incidents.
- Incident Response Leader: Lead investigations and responses to safeguarding concerns or security incidents, ensuring proper reporting, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Policy Evolution: Regularly review and update safeguarding and security policies, aligning them with international best practices, donor requirements, and organizational standards.
Ideal Candidate:
We seek individuals with significant experience in safeguarding, protection, or security management, ideally within international development or humanitarian contexts. Strong analytical skills, training expertise, and incident response capabilities are crucial. A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment is paramount, along with familiarity with international safeguarding frameworks, disability inclusion, and high-risk operational contexts.
