Both George (115) and Sooryavanshi (68) were given lifelines when they were still in their teens, and they absolutely made Afghanistan pay. India finally broke through in the 13th over, but Shinozada and Niazai then took over, forming a formidable partnership that propelled Afghanistan to their impressive total.
