The collection, titled "Because Every Journey Starts With a Daydream," is a cinematic and feeling-led exploration of the emotional journey that leads up to the destination. The collection is divided into two interconnected drops, each capturing a unique aspect of spring travel. The first part, "Your Passport to Blue Skies," centers around early spring departures and renewal, featuring elevated blues like Metallic Indigo and French Blue, adorned with prints such as French Blue Gingham and Lavender Bloom. This drop is all about embracing the excitement of planning and the promise of new beginnings.
The second part, "A Taste of Spring," launches on February 24th and coincides with the arrival of spring itself. It celebrates outdoor meals and picnics with hues of Tomato, Celadon, and Mushroom, paired with seasonal prints. This drop is all about embracing the warmth and vibrancy of the season.
"Our spring campaign is rooted in the idea that every journey begins long before you arrive — it starts with a daydream," said Jeannie Shin, vice president of marketing at Calpak. "As our customers plan their spring getaways and imagine escaping the winter cold, we wanted this campaign to capture that anticipatory moment and shift the focus to the act of departure itself."
The collection builds upon Calpak's bestselling Luka collection, offering transitional carry-ons and everyday travel bags in blues, lavender hues, and seasonal prints. The new product assortment includes the Luka styles in printed versions and interior-printed Hue luggage pieces, providing travelers with more ways to choose what best suits their needs. The introduction of the Luka Duffel with an exterior print has already resonated strongly with both longtime and new customers, marking a bold step forward for the brand.
